Another photo of Cuicocha Crater Lake in Ecuador (3,246 m) taken as the fog began to lift. I believe those pink flowers are a species of Orchid.
There is a wonderful trail that surrounds the lake and takes approximetly 4 hours to hike. When the sky is clouded the water has a deep greyish-blue tone but when the water is exposed to sunlight the water turns bright blue! Copyright © Justin Black. All rights reserved.
